Privacy policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Short version: SlapDrum doesn't collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking in the app or on this website.
The app
- It reads only the Mac's accelerometer and gyroscope. It does not use the microphone or camera.
- To ignore typing, it checks that a key was pressed, never which key. Nothing typed is read or stored.
- Calibration and settings are stored locally on your Mac and never uploaded.
The one network request
When you click Activate for a Pro license, the app sends your license key and your Mac's name (so the activation can be listed under a recognizable name) to Lemon Squeezy's license service to check the key. It makes no other network requests, and none unless you click Activate. The license result is saved on your Mac.
Purchases
When you buy Pro, Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record, collects your email, payment details and billing country, and sends your receipt and license key. That data is handled under Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy. We receive your email and order details so we can provide support and refunds.
This website
The site has no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Playing the beat demo happens entirely in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you (essentially, order and support emails), or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email ronim1studio@gmail.com. We keep order records only as long as needed for support, refunds and tax rules. Uninstalling the app and deleting its preferences removes all local data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
