1. The app

SlapDrum is a macOS app that turns the built-in motion sensor of supported MacBooks into a drum kit. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms.

2. Free and Pro

The free version can be used without charge and without a time limit. SlapDrum Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the Live, 808 and Lo-fi kits and per-drum sound selection. Pro is not a subscription and does not renew. The price shown on the pricing page or at checkout applies.

3. License

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use SlapDrum on Macs you own or control. A Pro license key is for your own use; please do not share it publicly or resell it. We may deactivate keys that are shared or obtained through fraud or a chargeback.

You may not reverse engineer the app to remove license checks, or redistribute the app or its sound kits as your own. Open-source components and the Live kit recordings keep their own licenses, listed under Credits & licenses.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. It collects payment details and applicable taxes at checkout. We never see or store your card number. Refunds are covered in the refund policy.

5. Use at your own care

SlapDrum is designed to respond to gentle taps on the palm rest and sides of the case. Do not hit your computer or its screen. You are responsible for how you use your hardware. SlapDrum relies on an undocumented sensor interface; a macOS or hardware update may change or break it, and we do not guarantee the app will work on every Mac.

6. No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for hardware damage, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for SlapDrum in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

7. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. The date above shows the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
